Eligibility and Application Process

We are looking for aspiring fresh graduates or graduates with less than 3 years of work experience who want to take their engineering and technology career to greater heights!

  • A graduate with good academic results from recognized Overseas Universities with relevant qualifications, and with less than 3 years of work experience.
  • Good track record in co-curricular activities, especially if you have held leadership positions.
  • All nationalities are welcome to apply.
  • Resume and academic certifications are required at point of application.

Internship opportunities

Not ready to apply for our Global Talent Programme? Why not join us for an internship stint at any of our international Business Units, our Global Headquarters or Business Units in Singapore?

We offer exciting, diverse internship opportunities globally spanning across the aerospace, digital solutions, smart city, defence and public security segments for undergraduates or postgraduates seeking to gain practical work experience. Interns will be supported with an attractive internship package during the internship period.

Interns with outstanding performance, attitude and aptitude will be considered for employment opportunities and direct entry into the GTP upon graduation.

Is the GTP open to Master level graduates?

Yes, we welcome Master level graduates to apply for the GTP if they meet the eligibility criteria. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.

Is the GTP open to all nationalities for application?

Yes, the GTP is open to all nationalities for application.

Will I be able to select my preferred role, business area or location for my deployment or posting?

Successful applicants would be encouraged to assume a role either at Global Headquarters or any of our Business Units in Singapore for their first posting. Subsequently, you may also be exposed to job rotation opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of our global businesses. You can be assured that we will deploy GTP talents to a best fitting role considering your technical or domain expertise and career aspirations vis-a-vis our business needs.

What happens after I’ve completed the GTP?

After successful completion of the GTP, you will continue to grow your career with us as a global talent by taking on various exciting and diverse roles available at our Business Units overseas or in Singapore.

Are internship opportunities only available in ST Engineering's Global Headquarters in Singapore?

No, we offer an exciting and diverse portfolio of internship opportunities spanning across our international Business Units as well as in our Global Headquarters and Business Units in Singapore. 

Prospective interns will get first-hand practical experience working on projects involving cutting-edge capabilities and technologies such as data science, analytics and AI, cybersecurity as well as Design and Engineering.
