Q: Describe what you do at ST Engineering.
As a UI/UX designer of our AGIL Smart City Operating System (OS), I create engaging and user-friendly experiences for various platform users. The Smart City OS provides a bird's-eye view of key assets and their performances. It analyses data from various infrastructure systems to predict and pre-empt incidents, proactively responding and adapting to changes in the environment. This requires me to dive deep into understanding ergonomics to create user-centric experiences for digital platforms and solutions.
My UX designs focus on enhancing navigation, accessibility, and communication within smart systems, enabling efficient interactions between systems in buildings or across entire districts.
Q: What are some real-world applications of your work?
I am currently working with our partners to develop an open digital platform in a multi-agency project focusing on Smart Cities and Estates. The platform seamlessly integrates smart systems within buildings and across entire estates. It has a unified interface and connects different components of the digital ecosystem, enabling seamless communication, collaboration, and data sharing.
Being involved in creating the different UI flows and system screens has been a remarkable experience for me!
Q: What do you enjoy most about working at ST Engineering?
