Singapore, 30 March 2017 - Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) today updated the leadership change in ST Kinetics as outlined in its earlier announcement on 14 November 2016.
President-designate Lee Shiang Long will assume his role as the President of ST Kinetics effective 1 April 2017. Ravinder Singh will relinquish his position in ST Kinetics and remain as President of ST Electronics, an appointment he holds since 1 January 2017.
Shiang Long, who has been transiting into his new role since late 2016, joined ST Kinetics in March 2016 from the Institute of Infocomm Research (I2R) at A*STAR. At I2R, he was responsible for research and innovation to meet Singapore’s Smart Nation Initiative. He holds a Master in Business Administration from Cambridge University and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, as well as a Master Degree in Science (IT) from the National University of Singapore.
