Singapore, 31 May 2016 - Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) today announced the resignation of Mr Venkatachalam Krishnakumar as independent non-executive Director of the Company and Member of the Audit Committee effective 1 June 2016. He will also be stepping down as Chairman of the Nominating Committee. Mr Krishnakumar has been with the Board since 15 April 2002.
As Chairman of the Nominating Committee, Mr Krishnakumar supports the Board’s plans for renewal and rejuvenation, and believes that as a long serving Director, his stepping off, will allow these plans to be executed.
The Board of Directors acknowledges with deep appreciation Mr Krishnakumar’s invaluable contributions to the Board.
Mr Khoo Boon Hui, who chairs the Risk Review Committee, has been appointed a Member of the Audit Committee, while Mr Kwa Chong Seng, an existing Nominating Committee member, has been appointed Chairman of the Nominating Committee, effective 1 June 2016.
